About

The Chartwell Foundation was founded in 2006 and was created as a separate corporate entity, governed by a Board of Directors made up of Chartwell Golf and Country Club members. It is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Therefore, contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible.

It's mission is "to positively impact the community through fund raising efforts and by awarding grants to local non-profit organizations for charitable and educational purposes."

Over its life, the Foundation has raised and granted over $500,000 to non-profits in our community. Last year, grants of over $60,000 were made to local charities.
